People can be concerned that they will ‘lose control’ in hypnosis. However, this is not the case. Regardless of how deeply you may go in hypnosis and however passive you may appear to be, you actually remain in full control of the situation. You are fully able to talk if you wish to (or not, as the case may be) and can leave the room at any time. A hypnotised person can not be made to do anything against their usual ethical or moral judgement or religious belief.

As with all my treatments you will be asked to fill out a full and comprehensive questionnaire with a consent form.

What happens in a hypnotherapy session:

  • Different processes can be used when hypnotising/helping a client to relax and go into a trance like state.

  • Before the session has been arranged the hypnotherapist will have already had a chat with you on the phone to discuss what you hope to achieve from the session.

  • Your session will be approx 2 hours long

  • You will be asked to complete a fully comprehensive questionnaire and medical form

  • You will be fully clothed during your session and a blanket will be offered so that you feel warm, relaxed and comfortable during your session.

  • The hypnotherapist will lead you into a relaxed state

Neuro-linguistic Programming is a way of discovering and changing the way you feel, think and behave. It provides simple but effective methods that are being used to achieve success in a variety of professions and personal development.

It was created in the 1970’s when Richard Bandler (an American author and trainer in the field of self-help) and John Grinder (American linguist, author, management consultant, trainer and speaker) began modelling top communicators and therapists who had achieved successful results with their techniques and abilities to help others achieve specific goals in their life.
